Built for Real Protection

Wasatch engineers safes for people who need actual security, not just a steel box with a lock. Every model prioritizes structural integrity, verified fire resistance, and anti-theft features that perform when it matters—without the inflated pricing of legacy brands.

Heavy-Gauge Steel Construction

Wasatch safes use 12-14 gauge steel bodies with reinforced doors, not the thin metal shells found in budget models. Your firearms stay secure against pry attacks and impact.

Fire Protection That Works

Tested fire ratings up to 1400°F for 75+ minutes mean your guns, documents, and valuables survive actual house fires, not just pass a lab test with no real-world application.

More Storage, Less Money

Get 24-64 gun capacity with adjustable shelving and door organizers at a fraction of Liberty or Browning pricing. No premium markup for features that should be standard.

Built in Utah. Built to Last.

Wasatch makes gun safes for people who actually use their guns. We started because the market gave you two bad options: flimsy sheet metal boxes that wouldn’t stop a teenager with a pry bar, or $4,000 bank vaults designed to protect jewelry collections. We thought hunters, sport shooters, and responsible gun owners deserved something in between—real security at a price that doesn’t require a second mortgage.

Our safes are assembled in Utah using American steel and commercial-grade locking mechanisms. Not the same fire-resistant board wrapped in carpet that every other mid-price safe uses—actual plate steel construction with relockers and hardplate protection on drill points. We test them the way thieves would attack them: angle grinders, pry bars, drill presses. If a method works, we engineer it out before the safe ships. Our warranty covers forced entry attempts, because we know these things actually get targeted, and we’d rather replace a safe than explain why ours failed when it shouldn’t have.

We don’t sponsor NASCAR drivers or pay celebrities to pose with our products. The people who buy Wasatch safes are cops, veterans, competitive shooters, and folks with valuable collections they’d like to keep valuable. They care about bolt thickness and door gap tolerances, not lifestyle branding. We publish our steel gauges, explain exactly what our fire ratings mean in real-world conditions, and show you what’s inside the door before you buy it. If that sounds like overkill for a gun safe company, you’re probably not our customer—and that’s fine. The ones who care about this stuff tend to stay customers for decades.

Frequently Asked Questions

This section answers common questions about product features, delivery, care, and support.

What materials are used in construction?

The products are built with heavy-gauge steel bodies and pry-resistant doors. Interior linings use fire-resistant materials rated for extended protection. Locking mechanisms feature hardened steel bolts, and some models include additional reinforcement plates around vulnerable entry points.

How long does shipping typically take?

Standard delivery usually takes 7–14 business days depending on location. Freight shipping is used due to product weight and size. Tracking information is provided once the order ships. White glove delivery service, which includes room placement and packaging removal, is available for an additional fee in most areas.

Can the door hinge side be changed after delivery?

Most models feature reversible door hinges that can be switched from left to right orientation. The process requires basic tools and typically takes 30–45 minutes. Detailed instructions are included with each unit. Some compact models have fixed hinges, so it’s worth checking specifications before ordering.

Locking mechanisms should be lubricated every 6–12 months with a dry graphite lubricant. Avoid oil-based products as they attract dust. The exterior can be cleaned with a soft cloth and mild cleaner. Interior shelving may need occasional adjustment or repositioning based on storage needs.

Is installation service available?

Professional installation and anchoring services can be arranged in many regions. This includes securing the unit to floor joists or concrete for added stability. Customers can also choose to anchor the product themselves using the pre-drilled mounting holes and included hardware. Installation guides provide step-by-step instructions.

What happens if there’s an issue with the locking system?

Customer support can troubleshoot most locking issues over the phone or via email. Common problems often relate to battery replacement in electronic locks or bolt alignment. If a component needs replacement, parts can be shipped directly. For more complex mechanical issues, authorized service technicians are available in most regions.

Man wearing wide-brimmed hat

Moved three times in two years and this safe has been through it all. The door alignment is still perfect, and I’ve never once worried about my collection during transport. Worth every cent.

Woman smiling by water

I was skeptical about the fire rating until our garage had an electrical fire last spring. Everything inside came out untouched—even the papers. That’s when you know you bought the right safe.

Jennifer K.

Man wearing sunglasses outdoors

Finally found a safe that doesn’t feel like I’m cracking into Fort Knox every time I need quick access. The interior layout actually makes sense, and the lighting is a nice touch I didn’t know I needed.
